Organiser: The “Split the Bucket” draw is organised by Na Laochra Aeracha GAA Club to raise funds in support of the club’s ongoing activities, operations, and development.

How it Works: The draw takes place once a month, typically on the first Monday of each month (or as close as possible). 50% of that month’s total pot (i.e. the total amount raised from entries for that particular month) goes to the winner. The remaining 50% is retained by the club to support its initiatives. The prize amount will vary depending on the number of entries received each month.

How to Enter: To enter, participants must visit: 👉 www.nlagaa.ie/split-the-bucket Then: Fill in their name and email address. Complete the payment online. Entry options available:

1 month – €5

Participants may purchase as many entries as they like.
Each entry equals one chance to win, meaning multiple entries increase your odds by having your name appear multiple times in the draw.
You must be 18 years or older to enter.
The draw is open to both local and international entrants, provided they are 18+.

The draw process: The draw is conducted using WheelOfNames.com, a transparent and random digital platform. All participant names will appear on the wheel during the Instagram Live draw. Each participant’s name appears on the wheel as many times as they have entries. The draw will be: Streamed live on Instagram Recorded, and the video will be posted on the club’s official website only

Please note: Watching the live draw is not required. All participants are automatically entered, and the full draw video will be published afterwards for transparency.

The full name of the winner may be displayed on the club’s website and/or promotional materials for transparency.

Winner Notification & Payment: The club will contact the winner within 14 days of the draw. To claim the prize, the winner must: Confirm the last 4 digits of the debit or credit card used to pay for their entry. Provide a valid Irish IBAN and BIC. Payment will be made via bank transfer within 14 days of receiving valid banking details. IMPORTANT: If a participant provides an incorrect or inactive email address and cannot be contacted, the club will make reasonable efforts to locate the winner and issue payment. However, payment cannot be guaranteed if contact cannot be established within a reasonable time frame. If the winner does not respond within 30 days of the draw date, the prize may be forfeited at the club’s discretion.

Technical Issues:: If a technical issue interrupts the Instagram Live stream (e.g., internet failure), the draw will either: Be rescheduled within 48 hours, or Be conducted offline using the same draw method. If conducted offline: The draw will be fully recorded. The video will be posted on the club’s website. The club is not responsible for technical failures beyond its control, such as: Instagram outages, Participant connectivity issues, Third-party platform errors. Transparency will be ensured regardless of draw method.

Data Privacy (GDPR): Participant data (name and email) will be: Used solely for draw-related purposes, including: Contacting winners, Sending reminders and invitations for future draws. They are stored securely for up to 4 years, in accordance with GDPR and legal requirements and never shared with third parties. Participants who wish to opt out of draw communications can do so by contacting the club directly.

Final Notes: By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The club reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Any changes will be published on the official club website.
